accomplished Friday...another row on quilt, took Pape to eat lunch, picked up DGD#1, and started cutting circles with borrowed Go which required going thru scrap bin.

i am thinking...that Spirit(6) and Chris(10) can find the strangest things to have fun doing. Last night they were crawling in and out of the cubbie holes of my new cutting table made from two inexpensive cube units from Lowes' and a piece of plywood.

i am remembering...my mom says "Charlene, don't let your big mouth overload your big a.... Say NO!"
i am going...to NI hopefully to get generator fixed so we can go camping at farm.
i am currently reading...blogs and quilt magazines.
i am hoping...to finish 2 rows, and attach at least 1 row.
i am looking forward to...cutting 500 circles with the Go I borrowed and organizing scraps.
one of my favorite things...having my DGD#1 stay at my house. She makes Pape laugh and smile.
my mood...better since Art Rightus has decided to quiet down and just snuggle in my hands and back.

accomplishedThursday...Stitch witches Guild meeting-way fun; 1 row of secret sister quilt and finished center with piping; ate first and LAST pieces of smoked boudin- sausage smell and beginning taste with boudin texture. NOT my idea of something worth eating.
i am thinking...that Thanksgiving is best spent at someone else's house or at a buffet.   .
i am wearing...sweats

A Finish! Nov 18th NaBloPoMo

Charity quilt - Here Kitty Kitty!

A Finish!!!  "Here, Kitty, Kitty!"Finally I finished a quilt from my stash! It doesn't look like much but it has been waiting for binding for 5 months. I will probably have another finish (Jungle Love - a wacky ninepatch) by Thanksgiving if my new quilter does my quilt as speedily as she did hers. Also "Yellow Tom Cat" is at the longarm quilter and should be coming back soon. Not to mention that I have been making lots of progress on my secret sister quilt and Saints Stars. I may be in the black soon. 2011 will be a year for finishing WIPs.

accomplished Wednesday..embroidered 6 shirts, went to Barnes & Noble with DGD#1, took meds for cold, & helped DGS with title page and bibliography for project.
i am thinking....sometimes you have to teach & argue with the parents so that the kids have a fighting chance to learn how to do things the correct way.
i am wearing...sweats 
i am remembering...to hold my temper before I say something that does not need to be said..

took DH to eye doctor, went to QGA meeting, got sick, worked on teacher shirts, and charity quilt binding,.
i am thinking....I will work on charity quilt binding and finally have a finish. Soon I will have 2 and then 3.
i am wearing... favorite attire-sweat pants and sweat shirt.
i am remembering....how nice it is NOT to have deadlines. But alas I will have them until May.
i am listening to....zydeco on radio.
i am going...to spend the afternoon with DGD#1 at Barnes & Noble

i am hoping....whatever is making my throat and ears scratchy and my voice hoarse passes very quickly. I HATE being sick.
i am looking forward to...the Stitch Witches guild meeting Thursday night, finishing dresden plates, and cleaning/organizing studio. C A told us to call our sewing room that since it sounds better when you tell people you spent the whole day in your studio than you spent the whole day in your sewing room.
one of my favorite things...drinking a cup of Community coffee while binding a quilt.
my mood...a bit better because Art Rightis isn't as bad and meds are working for congestion.

On my design wall are sections of the dresden plate waiting to be quilted and added to center. Also the center with strips of red & white paisley and just red, I can't decided which to put as the piping between center and rows.
Next on the design wall are the QGA lotto blocks due tomorrow. 
Today is dedicated to embroidery, I have shirts due on Wednesday. I hope I can get them done.
