Saints Quilt Process 2

I was trying to finish this quilt. My DGD has taken over my guest room while on break from college and my DH was sleeping. So I laid out the quilt on my sewing table and placed the next 5 blocks, sewed & quilted them. DH woke up so I went put Saint Stars on my bed and found I had sewn the blocks wrong. They were to slant to the right but slanted to the left. There is nothing I can do about it since I don't have enough fabric to redo the blocks. DH says that only I will know that it was an error. DD#4 said the same thing. It glares at me! I will finish the quilt and give it to the young man but I am now sadden when I work on it. Hopefully I will finish today or tomorrow and then will post picture.

Design Wall Week 49

Proud mom!

My design wall is empty b/c I am working on putting Saint Stars together and making 12 Christmas pillowcases. 
Lilly had 4 puppies last night and all are doing well. I hope that I will find homes for them near Valentines' Day. My DH won't go into the bathroom where they are  so another place has to be found where family won't bug Lilly.

Lee, my male yorkie, is sleeping on top of an unfinished quilt that was boo boo from the beginning so it will be made into another bed. Hopefully, Lulu and Lilly won't take that one from him. He is such a gentleman giving up his bed to the ladies. The fact that they both outweigh him by 5 pounds has nothing to do with it. LOL
This week is a very busy week for me. Tonight we bowl; Tuesday I have a guild Christmas Auction/Party to attend; Wednesday I have to go meet guild members to count auction receipts; Thursday I have an other guild Christmas party; Friday is free I think; Saturday is DGD#1's Christmas concert; Sunday is another day of rest.

Dresden Plate Quilt is done with label and on its way to its new owner. I really hope she likes it b/c we do.
DD#1 finished quilting "Wonky Jungle Love via Witch Doctor" for me and I will begin binding it tomorrow. This will be another big use for next week. Whoo hoo! Finally I am getting to the finish stages.


Well, Gators, I have to go see about Lilly. We came home to the beginning of her labor. So far there are 2 puppies. I am hoping for only 1 or 2 more. These are Yorkie mix but I don't know what the mixes are except that Leeapaul, my male yorkie, got into the mix. All I care about is that Lilly stays healthy and happy.  Have a blessed week.
