Stressful Day

Today was not a STRESS FREE Day!
First, I get on Facebook and see messages addressed to my grandson asking if he is ok. So I begin wondering why would he not be ok...did he hurt himself playing baseball or did he get hurt in traffic or did he hurt himself training for the marathon he is running in soon? Then I go to AOL and there I see why? There was a very big earthquake in Japan where he is stationed. So all morning I worried about if he was ok. Then I saw a message from his girlfriend that she had talked to him and he was ok.
Secondly, in a worried state of mind, I started piecing my Bee Block only I didn't read the directions very carefully. Only after the block was finished did I realize that there was a focus fabric...oops. I love the block but it isn't exactly what she asked for! I will send it and ask her to send more fabric for me to make a new block if she likes.
Thirdly, my step-son took my 6 yr old granddaughter, 10 yr old grandson, and 12 yr old grandson and disappeared with them. My DH let them go with him thinking they were just going to walk around the block. Well, at 6pm there was no sign of them and I, a paranoid grandmother having lost 1 grandchild, began to get very stressed until they were home. He took them to play basketball in an area of our community that is not entirely safe for children.
Fourth, we get back from eating supper with my daughter and my male yorkie is not in the house. It seems my DH forgot to bring him inside. Actually it turned out that he forgot Leeapaul totally and locked him inside out in the storage garage.
Nope, today was not a STRESS FREE day. I really will need that day of sewing tomorrow.
Well, Lator Gators. May the fabric you desire appear magically in your stash for you  to pet and stroke. Keep 2011 STRESS FREE!
