We had a peaceful night. This morning we called Traders Villiage to see if our "19 pound of dog" would be accepted. Most sites limit number of pets to 2 and we have 3. I have found if I give weight then site is ok with number. Also I seldom walk all three together. Traders Villiage had no problem so we booked 2 nights. It is only 2 miles from lanes.
We had a very relaxing day today. Everything in camper is working properly. We had hot dogs and chilli for brunch and salad with tuna sandwiches for supper/dinner. Hot showers were wonderful and now for a comfortable night in our bed.
Tomorrow DH bowls at 3. Here's hoping for 200's by all 5 team members.

Another Adventure
Today has been an adventure! First, DH and I both woke with serious headaches so we started late. Getting to Dallas was just sweet driving. We found Red Bird Lanes with no problem. Then the adventure started. First we went looking for the two campgrounds we wanted to stay at. First one was closed and the second is now a church. So we went back to bowling lanes. There we found out that things had changed. We were now bowling in another city at a different time and possibly a day sooner. So off we went again. We found the new lanes and the new time but still the same day. Tomorrow we will look for camp ground in area and enjoy the peace and maybe even find a quilt shop.

Tuesday - So Far So Good
My Plans for Tuesday:
1)Mail the Bee block and Swap blocks. 2) Drive to Lafayette and pick up batting for 3 quilts. 3) Meet DD#1 at BQ to pick out fabric for lighter version of Saints Super Star Season and thread for quilting. 4) Shop for needed items and pack camper. 5) put binding on Tanya's quilt. 6) Trim and put binding on DD#1's quilt for DH.
Hopefully I can manage to do it all in one day b/c Wednesday we will be picking up Lilly and leaving for Dallas.
#4 will have to wait until later tonight since DH has other plans but I am steering him towards the store. #5 can't be accomplished until I make binding since the one I made has taken feet. #6 is the same.
When I came home DSS was here, he came to explain about behavior and the full moon. Old news to DH and I since we were teachers but new to him. He then showed us what he learned in school and gave his dad a leg rub with epson salts and baby oil. In the middle of mine, DH decided to change the oil in the camper. DSS had to help his father so I sat with my legs wrapped in a cold towel. Needless to say I am now fighting a bout with Art Ritis.
DD#1 brought me back a quilt that she quilted and as soon as I am finished here, I am going into studio and cut binding for both quilts. I may be up late sewing on binding.
But 3 of the main 4 were done before life got in the way.
Lator Gators.Don't get caught in the race to higher ground! May the fabric you need find its way into your stash.

Monday May 16, 2011
Plans:
Monday: Lilly goes to vet for second treatment for heartworms. Camper goes in again to find out why generator batteries die (I have been saying there is a short but no man is listening!) We bowl position round for money.
Quilting Goals for this week:
Sunday: Make 3 potato bags and put binding on Tanya's (DD#2) Graduation Quilt.
Monday: Mail swap packages and potato bag. Put together next row of DJ's quilt. Trim DD#1's quilt (for my DH) and put binding on it.
Actual Happenings:
Sunday: Spent the day cleaning house and tracking down missing items that walked off without our knowledge or permission. Things like bikes, tools, and chairs and many other things that have been traveling w/o us. I played nurse and driver to DGD#2. I picked out fabric for the potato bags and layered them (incorrectly) but I made it work by adding binding to the tops.
Monday: 1) I brought Lilly to vet for her second heartworm treatment. 2)We took the camper to RV place and were told that there was nothing wrong with it. They took us to do certain things - plug camper in and this would charge battery and then right before we leave cut battery switch. I certainly hope this will work b/c I still think there is a short. 3) DH spent an hour trying to find our extension cords w/o luck but he did find most of the missing tools and locked them in the shed. We then went to Lowe's to buy an extension cord to plug the camper on. 4) I sewed the potato bags together. 5) We bowled and lost 3 of 4 games. Oh well we did as well as we could.
