Stash Report Sunday March 25, 2012

Stash Added this Week: 1.5 yards  ( I needed darks for the Bargello class.)
Stash Added in March: 4.25 yards (I really fell off the 'no-buy' wagon!)
Stash Added YTD: 7 yards (That's more than half my 2012 goal. Ugh!)
Stash Used this Week: 6.5 yards (2 yards for 10" swap; 1.5 Bargello center; 1 inner & outer borders; 2 backing)
Stash Used in March: 6.5 yards
Stash Used YTD: 35 yards
Stash Reduced: 28 yards
Dang!  I finished the Bargello center and borders and pieced the backing. It is ready to go to DD#1 for quilting. I cut the 10" blocks for the swap and prepared them for mailing. Then I made the star for my block swap. My muse came back from her vacation and hit the studio with a vengeance! I managed to use all the fabric I bought in March and when Tumblers comes back from DD#1 there will be more.
But I can't promise that I won't buy fabric next week. If there is a quilt shop around where we are going in Arkansas, I will be visiting!
   Lator Gators! Pictures tomorrow!

  1. Just like a painter always needs fresh paint, a quilter needs fresh fabric. Besides, it sounds like you used it as soon as you bought it.

  2. Still you are way in the black even with the added stash. Enjoy your trip to Arkansas. May you find the restraint you need when you are in the quilt shop (or not as the case may be)

  3. You didn't do too badly! I am still thinking you will be fine at year's end with your numbers.

I have to count up my zig zags and see. I may be too tired today, too much yard work................check out my yard!
