Stash Report for May 3, 2013

Added this week: 11.25 yards
Added YTD: 50 yards
Used this week: .25 yards
Used YTD: 32.5 yards
Stash ENHANCEMENT: 17.5 yards
I cut out another steno cover. I have been working on my uneven log cabin. So fabric is being sewn just not counted.

I am going backwards again adding fabric, but all was needed to complete future finishes.

2 yards of batik purple circles was bought for the final border of the "washed-out leaf quilt"
2 yards of Isadora red was for inner border of Wanda Red and black quilt.
2 yards of red Moda was for the red uneven log cabin I am working on.
5.25 yards of the white on white Northcott was bought for the red & white log cabin. Since it is hard to find I just bought the rest of the bolt instead of just 3 yards.
Now all I have to do is finish the tops!
Thoughts
Listening - to birds singing outside my window.
Loving - the peace, sounds, and tranquility of the early morning.
Thinkingmy life is much different than I expected when I was 18
Wanting - more visiting with my grandchildren.
Needing - coffee and flat head pins. And blogger to act right with my pictures!
Surprised - that I bought so much fabric yesterday
at J&B. Format copied from Susanne at Make Share Give.
Lator Gators! I am off to find coffee.

  1. I don't think I have ever seen a uneven log cabin quilt before - I like the circle effect a lot. It seems as though all the fabric your purchased has a quilt it is intended for, looking forward to seeing your finished quilts. Enjoy your coffee.

  2. I liked your thoughts on here. Boy you are right, our lives are never what we see them being at 18!! My DD turned 20 yesterday, I wonder if her life will end up how she envisions it now?

  3. I wanted coffee this morning too and didn't get any! Love your red/white uneven log cabin. Have I seen your steno covers? Cant' remember. Must look.
