Design Wall

 Goals for 1/25-1/31
1) Krotz Springs BOM Blocks  13 &15 multiples - Block 13 finally finished
2) Chris' Quilt - complete tying quilt and then to wash it. Oh, so close! Done ready to give to Chris.
3) Soccer Beauty -hand sew binding. One side done! 3 to go.
4)  Geema's 18 - leader/enders &cut 2.5" by 4.5" bricks as needed. Put another couple of rows together. I need 18 of these tops - 1 for each grandchild. The grandsons will be just blocks but I think that the granddaughters will have sashing and be set on point. I am thinking of another pattern for Great grandchildren with the same size bricks.

5) Continue cutting scraps with Go-2.5" strips, 1.5" strips, 10" blocks, flying geese, and 12" churn dash. On-going project.
I honestly think scraps are multiplying as I cut.
6) J&B Block 6 - sew block.
I am hoping to get #1 and #2 done by the 31st. Soccer Beauty's binding will be on-going as will #4 and #5. #6 will get done as a leader/ender project with #1.
My main objective is to finish KS BOM Block #13, multiple 15- the side triangle units, and put the center together. That quilt has to be done by 2/27 since it is suppose to be a wedding gift. That is the date of the shower.
I have to start thinking about quilt patterns for 2 graduation quilts (1 bachelor and 1 Master) and 1 wedding quilt - all due this year.
Lator Gators. Wish me luck on finishing #1 & #2.

  2. I don't understand that scrap multiplier thing either. Seems to make a quilt out of new fabric i have to buy yards and yards of expensive stuff. But when I use my scraps I use so little...........

  3. Thanks for your comment on my blog, Charlene. For some reason I didn't get a notification -- first time (I hope) that's happened!

18 grandchildren! That's a lot of quilts! But, I know you'll enjoy them all. :D
