Design Wall, Monday February 15, 2016

  My Design wall is empty!
The Wedding Quilt aka Krotz Springs BOM is done, done, and done. It turned out to be a bit bigger than a true queen. This top has been through a lot since I started it last March and so have I.
Each time I had a problem with it or with life, I said a little prayer that Tab and Lance would not have problems in their upcoming marriage. It has been truly blessed especially as many times as I have had to use my seam ripper.LOL
Goals for Monday, 2/15/16 to Sunday 2/21/16
**1. Continue locating and cutting scraps into usable pieces especially 10" squares. (Monday - Go is due back at DD#1s on Tuesday) Got to keep Go Big until 27th so cutting for about 30 minutes a day
*2. Hand sew binding on DD#1's quilt. (slow stitching due Tuesday) Done
*3. Complete Block 6 of J&B BOM and pick up Block 7. (Monday - Tuesday)
*4. Finish binding on Soccer Beauty. slow stitching at night
5.  Finish tying PJ's Sneakers slow stitching in mornings APQ UFO for February
6.  Work on Bonnie Hunter Mystery aka Spirit's bedroom quilt. (Thursday - Sunday)
Pattern with different colors
7. Buy & Cut Minion fabric, yellow tone on tone, green tone on tone, and greens from stash for simple quilt. The pattern will be a large D9P as shown by Sara Craig from Confessions of a Fabric Addict. New leader/ender project)(Saturday or Sunday)Plan scrapped because DD#1 gave me 2 Minion panels, and fabric to complete them as toddler size and throw size. So unless Minion fabric at J&Bs has green in it, I won't be buying. I do still need the green and yellow.
8) Make log cabin blocks - black & white for KS Bingo as leader/enders. (due on March 11)
9. Bring KS BOM aka Wedding Quilt to DD#1s to be quilted. It will be presented on 2/27 and shown at KS guild on 3/11. Done
As usual I make a list of too many goals for a week knowing that I will probably finish just a few.
Lator Gators. I am off to hand sew binding.
