1) Belinda's Mom's Quilt (BMQ) - Belinda gave the top to me!
2) The Autumn Churn Dash (ACD)- No Progress!
3) Bonnie Hunter Square Triangle Leader and Ender Project (BHLE)-  I changed my mind as usual and decided to make the next row orange.  Six different orange fabrics came home from J&B.  All have been cut and sewn! Now I am sewing those into sides for the old center. Then a row of neutrals and then the reds!
4)  Missouri Star Quilt Company's Flying Home Wedding Quilt Blocks (FHWQ)- my stack of these blocks is growing! Part of the 14 yards is blues I bought at J&B and blues DGD#2 got for me at JoAnn's.  Two yards of black also came home from J&B.
The finishing kit for the J&B BOM made up the rest of the fabric enhancement. That quilt is next to have the piecing finished. I just have to find the bag of blocks and the last block which I started before the damage to the studio.
Since it is October, I feel the need to do a Halloween item. I have a couple I can throw in the mix after I complete the ACD top.
Next week I will be working with 5th graders at Sunset. They needed an emergency sub and the assistant principal at Canton talked me into the assignment. It is suppose to be only for a week so it won't interfere with DH's doctor appointment or the guild meeting, but I will have to postpone my yearly checkupso for a week. October and November are traditionally the time I get yearly checkups for eyes, thyroid, teeth, blood and bowel issues. Not my favorite thing to do but Houston starts November off. Thanks to the way the local School Board pays I will have a nice sum to spend so we can go in style!
Lator Gators! Keep making lemonade from life'so lemons!
