Ziggies are habit forming! Or is it the 9 patches that are additive? Maybe both! Which ever it is, the zig zag block took over my sewing time. Instead of doing all the things I had planned, including doing taxes, I sewed ziggies! Too many for the background squares in fact so there will be a second ziggy quilt to be had.

Only problem is that it is scraps so I can't count usage until a top is put together. Second problem is that DH has claimed this first one just like he claims all the other quilts I make. Since 3 quilts will be leaving soon for graduation gifts, the first ziggy will be all his - big enough for the camper, but not big enough for our bed because I ran out of background.

I am planning a purchase this next week. Patty sent me some beautiful vintage bowties and 9 patches. Thanks so very much, Patty! I am going get some cheddar to sash them. As for the 9 patches, well, my
warped mind is thinking that there are enough to make a nice sized top if combined with a deep cream. Cutting vintage blocks to make a ziggy is unbelievable! I told you they were additive!
Lator Gators! I have a retreat to get ready for, taxes to prepare, and it is my anniversary on this Tax Day...DH has managed to survive 13 years putting up with my warped mind! Keep making Lemonade from Life's Lemons.
