Banana Pudding and Vegetable Beef Soup

Our neighbor's children gave us some overripe bananas the other day. Little Miguel had never had old fashion banana pudding with vanilla wafers so I gathered supplies and yesterday he got to taste some! He was one happy 5 year old as was DH who got his own dish. Miguel let his mom, dad, uncle, and sister each have some before he tasted it, then the rest was his no Sharing! DH was feeling the same way!
The cool weather, this virus, and a pantry full of vegetables we don't normally eat made me want soup so supplies were gathered for that. DH convinced me to add soup bones to the pot along with a diced round steak. Last night after cooking all day, that soup tasted like a little bit of heaven!  We now have enough soup for a couple of months unless DGD #1 or DGD#2 or DGS#9 show up - then this pot might last 2 Weeks! They do love my soup and the meatballs too.
I don't like cooking many things but soup and dream pudding are two things I really do like doing along with spaghetti and meatballs  (we just finished the last bit of that Sunday.) The pantry is not bare, but only has canned meats and fruits, spinach, and diced tomatoes. A couple more degrees cooler and I will be making cobblers and chicken/cheese spaghetti. Wonder if Miguel has had those! If not, he will soon.
     Well later!
