Stash Report Week 23 June 12, 2011

Fabric Added this week:   8.625 yards
Total Fabric Added in June: 8.625 yards
Fabric Added YTD: 59.185 yards (about 10 yards a month)Ugh!
Fabric Used This Week: 0.25 yards
Total Fabric Used in June: 0.25 yards
Fabric Used YTD: 103.43 yards (about 17 yards a month)
Stash Enhancement/ Busted: 44.245 yards (that's 7 yards a month of old fabric out)

The lotto blocks at Krotz Springs Guild along with left over fabric became mine and I estimate that it was a little over 6 yards. A fat quarter for my b-day month also came home with me from KSG. 4 fat quarters and a half yard of yellow/gold were purchased at the new fabric store "Tulla Pink" in Lafayette.
I have been sewing a bit every day but it was for lotto blocks and swap blocks so it only amounted to 1/4 yard.
Complaining - I am NOT! - it has been a long time since I spent quality time in my sewing room and I am sewing again. My DD#1 has at least 2 quilts ready for quilting and now there are 3 tops that just need to be put together so my numbers will jump again soon.
Yesterday I spent the day with my BFF at the GSQA's POE. It was a long day but so much fun. We learned how to judge 1/4" seams and practiced those for a while. Learned new techniques for binding and practiced those. Then we made color transfer with sandpaper and crayons. Finally, we made cupcakes! No baking -just hand sewing, stuffing, and glue.
Lator Gators! May the fabric you desire find its way into your stash before you need it. Keep 2011 STRESS FREE
