Design Wall August 22, 2011

   I have been so busy running around like a chicken w/o a head that my design wall still has DJ's quilt on it. One day I will get the courage to quilt it but in the mean time I am working on tumblers and purses.

   Today and Tuesday, I will be working on 2 new purse patterns -grommet purse from Fabric Krazy in BR and quick change purse from Mes Ami in NO.

  Wednesday, I think I will cut more large tumblers out of my extra Saint fabrics to use as l&e's. The Quilt Niche had the cutest quilts made from Saints fabrics and LSU fabrics and general fabrics. 
   Friday and Saturday, I think I will make a table runner using my coffee fabrics. There was a simple one that I really like using 10" squares.
   I have a busy week planned but who knows what I will get done...I am so scattered brained and shiny new projects send me off doing something else.

Lator Gators! I am off to sew on the first purse. May all the fabric you need and desire appear in your stash. Keep 2011 STRESS FREE!

    You do have a lot planned this week. Good luck getting them all accomplished. Someone special in mind for the Saints/LSU quilt? I'm sure they'll be excited. My Mom loves making purses. She sells them at craft shows and gifts them to her girl friends at Christmas time. Sandi

    I am looking for LSU fabrics. Quilt Niche? Wherer is that?
