I am working on the second Disappearing Hour-Glass item. It was suppose to be a baby quilt, but DGD #5 decided she needed it. So I will make it a twin size quilt possibly a long double as she is already 5'6" tall at 10. Or I may stick with the orginal plan and make it a baby quilt and make another for DGD#5. Or maybe I will only make two more blocks and stop. Then make 9 of the second color group and let her choose between the two. Too many choices!
I am preparing the first DHG item for quilting. It is a spring time table runner with a Christmas backing. A twofer as they say!

This week will be crazy as will next week. We are traveling for a bowling tournament which will take up lots of my quilting time. Then next week DD#4 goes in for jaw surgery on Tuesday. Helping her will be the priority for the month of March. It is always interesting here to say the least.
Just saying I want a pair!  Blogger is the pits some days!

  1. jaw surgery?? Hope all goes well. Good luck at the alley. If you can't be quilting you may as well be winning!

  2. The disappearing hour glass blocks are turning out beautifully. You've definitely got lots of options with those.
