Wednesday, I made my J&B block #3 and will pick up block # 4 Tuesday.
Wednesday night I started sewing my Geema's 18 blocks together to make another top. I plan on making 18 of these tops before I leave this earth. 1 for each of my 18 grandchildren.  Each block has 18 pieces and each quilt is made of 40 blocks all scraps. I had forgotten how much I enjoy sewing those blocks so relaxing.

I still have 4 plate cozies to make for the under 24 crowd.  But since it will be a while before I see this grandchild or his mom, I am in no rush.
Saturday, I went to Game Zone to return the PS3 that we couldn't work and get one that worked. The very nice lady showed me how to change the input on the tv so that it would work. We went home and got it working so Spirit could play.

Goals for December 27 to January 3rd.
1) Put 1 or 2 "Geema's 18" tops together. The blocks are made. The columns are made! Now I just have to pin and sew columns together.
2) Pick up J&B block #4 and kit it.
3) Sew another block of the KS BOM.

Lator Gators! Have a great last week of 2015.

  1. Sounds like you have your work cut out for you this week. You can start 2016 with a reduction in your stash. Glad you got the game to play...aren't electronics quite the challenge? Happy Holidays, Sandi

  2. Looks like you'll see a stash reduction for 2015, congrats. No matter how small it's better than having a stash enhancement. Enjoy your stitching time today.

  3. Great job on your overall numbers!! I love the quote about handmade gifts. I always really struggle about giving folks handmade ... whether they'll appreciate the time, effort and energy! :)
