This Week in Review
Green diagonals

1) Sammie's quilt - I seem to have lost the purple thread i got to do the diagonals so an executive decision was made to do it in green.
1 corner done

2) Wedding Quilt - sewed binding on. Now working on hand work.
3)  Blue Binding Star Wedding quilt - I now have a due date. They will be here in December so that is when they will get the quilt as a combination Christmas and wedding gift b/c a) I want to see their faces when they first see the quilt; b) it is cold where they live in the winter so it can go into use immediately; c) less shipping cost.
4) Studio - the ceiling has 2 coats of paint thanks to DGS#9(Chris). Tuesday we will start on the walls. DGS#9 has really taken to this project. He wants to get to the walls so on Monday afternoon I will go get the needed bead board (9 sheets) for the back wall and little area. Tuesday morning DGS#9 and Mr Antonio will put those up. Then Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning, I will go get the 9 sheets of plywood needed for the other walls. I think Chris, DH, and I can handle those.
Chris wants to repaint the floor too but once the walls go up waiting for the floor to dry (3 to 5 days) and then for the polyurethane to dry (5 to 7 days) will feel like an eternity!   I am so ready to be back in my studio! But on the other hand it will be done with no half stepping and DGS#9 will know he did it right and can be very proud of his work. Guess I can wait (impatiently) another month or so.
