Fabric Used this Week: 5.5 yards (binding cut for quilts and 5 yards to DD#1)

 The only fabric used this week that hadn't been counted was the 5-6 yards that DD#1 left with on Saturday evening. She found 3 pieces that she liked in my stash. We do that quite often...exchange fabric. 
 This week has been spent sewing on projects for the quilt show & sale in Krotz Springs. It was a wonderful show and there were more people there this year than last. I even won a gift certificate to Sew This on Friday and a full jelly roll of Java on Saturday. Lots of my friends from BR were showing quilts and enjoying the show on Saturday. I really enjoyed myself! Even when a friend showed her completed and beautiful Mystery from Hell quilt and singled me out about not completing mine.

I finished 2 more duffles. - large brown one out of quilted fabric and a small one out of Saints fabric. I added interfacing to the small one and love the way it looks. I brought all three duffles to the show but none sold. That's ok b/c the halloween one left on vacation with DGD#2; the brown one is holding DH's Saint Stars safe; and the Saints one will go as a Christmas gift to some lucky person/granddaughter. Both the brown & Saints will be up for sale at the next craft show too.  Other than that, we sold almost all of our items which was really nice b/c now we can buy more fabric and make new things. LOL
  I am sewing binding on 2 quilts to take with me to NO on Monday. The casino there offered us 3 free nights and we decided to take them. Now will we go to the casino...can't promise that except to eat. Will I venture around NO...can't promise that either in this heat and humidity. Will I go to Mes Ami, Red Stick, and/or Cottage Creations to buy more fabric to replace what was used...you can bet your bottom dollar on that!
 On Thursday, we will travel home via a quilt meeting that night in BR. Friday til Sunday are rest days and then I go on retreat with Glen and Ann on the 23rd. I am really getting excited. 
  Well, I am off to try to straighten my studio and sew on the binding to two quilts so I will have something to do this week besides vegetate.
