Bonnie is thinking about stopping after her next round. I am working on the same round as she is only I want to end this quilt with either red or purple round. We shall see - It may become my Leader/Ender project for the whole year!
DGS#7 needed a pillowcase to replace his grungy one. His mom is super busy so I made him 2 which sort of match. So fabric has been used and a project completed. Pillowcases are fun to make once I match fabrics together. That is the hard part for me. I think that I will be making more as Christmas presents possibly paired with towels.
I pulled fabric for the July Wedding quilt and then rejected all. She requested Halloween or Harley Quinn colors. To me that means orange, deep purple, lime green, greys, and black. I found a Halloween word print and a Harley Quinn piece so that will be the borders around the panel. It won't be a very big quilt - just sofa size but they are each getting a quilt so it will do. I couldn't combine the two quilts so it is what it is!

New Project Started This Week:
2 Pillowcases @ 1.125 yards each for 2.25 yards - Completed
Projects Advanced This Week:
BH Leader/Ender: 20+ Blue quarter square triangles (26:156) and 10 neutral square triangles (10:100)
Guild Bingo Blocks: 3 of 3 done.
Projects Not Advanced This Week:
Guild Challenge - Spring Table Runner 12 x 35 - I am rethinking my design. I think my Easter Eggs need to be pastel to go with the background fabric.
Trash/Strings- This project has no deadline b/c it is me using up neutral strings and someone's trash. I do however enjoy sewing on it and it is #1 on the UFO list (JL).
Potholders - As soon as I catch up on other projects, I will complete these.
Wedding Quilt - I rejected all the fabrics I pulled so I am back to square one on the July quilt. Then I pulled 2 more. (See picture above.)
Free Motion Quilting - It still scares me but I have polished the table and changed the foot on the machine I will be using.
You did great this week, I love the log cabin blocks.
ReplyDeleteThe Harlequin quilt sounds interesting. Congrats on a great stash report. Happy stitching this week.
