Tripping

So far so good. DH had to drive the whole way since I was in pain, but we made it. The pain is now manageable.
Construction was constant which made for slow going especially between Sealy and SA. We checked into the Base Lodging and got a upgrade-a lovely 2 room suite. Activity on the base starts early with planes taking off at around 7am.
Wedding is Saturday evening but festivities start tonight.
Friday Events:
Lunch was eventful with a car catching fire outside the window where we were sitting. DH would not come away from the window.
About 5pm DH decided he wanted to go out so we got dressed and went meet the younger generation in S.A.  Yes, I drove on the freeways.
Saturday Events:

We got dressed, drove to hotel, ate lunch (not that great). At 3pm we met up with Lynn and company to travel to wedding sire. Naturally we got lost. Thank goodness for GPS.
The ceremony was very nice. Then we traveled to reception. Again we got lost.
The reception was a very lovely combination of the two families style. We left around 10pm when I started hurting. On the way back, we got lost again. We are good at getting lost and using GPS. LOL
Sunday Events:
All is good as I get ready to start my 68th year of life.  We will be traveling most if the day.
Stash Report:
No movement! But another Loosey Goosey block was made before we left for S.A.. MAYBE my muse will come out of hiding soon.

A friend called and made a request for 2 quillows - one with S for Stanford and the other with H for Harvard. Her daughter's sons received full scholarships this year. So now I am on the hunt for fabric to represent both universities.
Lator!
