Friday and Saturday, I tried with horrible results to sew my 4 patches. Accurate cutting and piecing have flown the coup! I finally got the strips the correct size after numerous adjustments. How I wish either my Phaff or BabyLock machine were in the house and not the Studio! (Adjustable needle position).
Then I sub cut the strips too big. That was the straw that broke the camel's back! Everything was left right where it was and regrouping has been taking place.
In the meantime, Glenda has been making 4 patches. She has hers done and now has begun making some for me. And to think about all the grousing she did about not doing this mystery. Great thing about 4 patches is that they can be used in all kinds of projects!
On the insurance front, DD#3 has begun filing the claim. Getting back money you paid out over 25 years is a dream! Hopefully, all will go well there.
I have begun looking forward to the holidays! All I want is a new band to replace the one that dropped off my finger, a California King sheet set, aBabyLock computerized quilting machine, and this cancer gone not necessary in that order.
