A Post a Day Keeps the Blues Away! Day 8

 Today we vote for new school board members etc. Naturally it is pouring down to make it difficult to get to the polls.
   Yesterday, we took the long trip to BR to see my chief doctor. She was so positive about how much better I was doing physically and how the tumor was shrinking and soft. Finally good news!

     Today, however, I am suffering from the after effects from a 7 am to 2 pm trip with lots of sitting on a hard seat. Resting is the rule of the day and this pouring rain made it the perfect day for napping. 
    Today was a prep day in between naps - cutting more big squares in blue and neutral, strips in green, red, neutral, along with small neutral squares with a little piecing thrown in.

LeiLei enforcing rest!

     DD#1 brought supper! Cheesy Shrimp spaghetti, YUM! She also picked up Christmas gifts she had sent here and showed me her purchases from JoAnn's. Pelon 809 for purse making and  batting to make potholders.
