Design Wall week 42

My design wall is still the same - dresden plates. It will be up there until I finish Saint Stars which is very slow going.
But I do have an addition - Anita's Arrowhead blocks size 14 inches made from scraps.I just love the technique and the outcome.

Well, back to working on Saint Stars.
Finally row 1 has been added to center

Lator Gators. Have a blessed week! See you all at the International Quilt Festival in Houston.
Wow! I posted on the first try. Whew!

  1. Love the arrow head blocks. I intended to make that block this weekend and ran out of time. Glad to see yours with more "prints" as in the article the block was made with tone on tone. I like it very much.

  5. I love your plates! That is the very first quilt I ever made, over 25 years ago. However, it looks nothing like yours, since I didn't have a clue what I was doing. LOL It is on my "future" list, to do another, now that I know what I am doing.

  8. I've been noticing this week that lots of bloggers are making these arrowhead blocks. Several are commenting on the technique the designer has one follow. I'll have to check them out further. I was lucky to have gone once to Houston. Have a wonderful time and don't get lost in the vendor mall.
