Used YTD: 208 yards
Stash Reduced: 176 yards(150 sold at garage sale & 10 gifted)

So far this year, I have really been slacking on my stash reports. Hopefully I will be able to do a better job the rest of the year.
Not much fabric has been used this year, although I did sell quite a lot of the old fabrics in my stash at Sunset's annual 7 mile long garage sale in March and gifted some to DD#1. J & B has been good for keeping me from adding, but horrible for helping use up stash! The new doesn't get added b/c I know that it is available when and if I need it for a project. Sewing after work isn't happening except on Sundays & Mondays which are already full with activity as is my evening time. Well at least I am sewing and sewing and sewing at work and also petting wonderful fabrics all day long. Saturday, I finished the baby quilt that was requested by a customer. I am working on the binding of one t-shirt quilt and the sashing of a second. I am also reconstructing and simplifying the instructions for a flag wall hanging for a class.

Life is getting back to an even keel so today I plan on working on overdue swap & lotto blocks, mysterys, and most importantly that dang invisible zipper!
Lator Gators!

  3. Charlene, I was upset that some one had the audacity to walk in your home and remove your older ipad. I'm so sorry that your trust and faith in humanity was smashed. Since we spend alot of time out back of our country home, we lock the front and side doors so that can't happen here. We also were victimized many years (decades) ago, but know it had to be someone we invited into our home, they took high school rings and a family heirloom of an opal and diamond ring. There was a 6 month window of time that the theft happened in so no one was ever caught or apologized. Just made me smarter on how to protect us from in the future. Now when we host any gatherings, I leave a five dollar bill out in a not too conspicuous place, so itchy fingers can grab that (usually it's not touched, TG!). Sorry to say, it's not the same world we used to live in.
