I bought some white on white yardage and fat quarters & black & white half yards to use in various projects I am working on. Besides I adore white on white whether it is winter white or bright white.
I am working on Christmas presents which are in various stages and the BHMQ.  I decided to do just half of each step until I saw what the mystery looks like. That way I could use my stash for it. So for except for the white on white & black/white pieces to add variety it has been all stash. So when the top is done, it will be a true stash quilt!
The electrician and carpenter are finished in my studio! The day they finished the weather turned so I am waiting to paint the floor. The cold is not a problem since it is warmer in the studio than in the room I am using now w/o the heater. The rain makes it too humid to paint so I am
hoping for a dry Christmas week so I can buy the paint and use it.
I plan on painting the cement floor a brick red then add specks of yellow, green, blue, black, and white. The specks will hide all the threads and dog ears on the floor.LOL. The trim and peg board will be painted a lemon yellow.  The walls will be covered eventually with flannel either white or light grey. When it is all done I will post pictures.

  1. Your studio sounds delightful! You can never have too much background fabric.

    Merry Christmas Charlene
