I did a lot, but not much in the studio until Saturday. I made the runner and mats as a housewarming gift for my neighbors. Sorry no pictures. I used fabrics from my stash which felt good. DD#4 wanted the set right away which made me chuckle since the fabric has been on the shelf a long time. My Phaff is giving trouble again so I used the BabyLock and one of my old singer clones.
Having a week of relatively no pain was such a rare occurrence that I spent most of my time this week working outside and cooking.
We got most of the back yard cut - I can see my clothes line again. Hanging clothes in the summer is a pleasure for me!
We cleaned up the side carport with the help of a neighbor. It still needs to be swept but looks amazing. The screen on the side porch got re-tacked. Next is rebuilding the wall.
The whole house got mopped twice which is a big job. The living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom got mopped every day not to mention swept. Clothes got done too.
Yep, it felt good to have the energy to take care of our house inside and out.

  1. I mopped this weekend too. So sad it takes a long weekend to get to the mopping. Glad you are feeling good.

  2. Glad you are feeling much better. I'm not sure I ever feel good enough to mop the whole house! Hope you got in some good stitching time this weekend.
