Little bites eventually get the elephant eaten! I know that I will be back in the black by the end of the year, but I think it is time to make some pillowcases which take 1+ yard bites. A couple of pet beds will take up yardage too.
After August 8th, I will have less time to piece until the end of September. I accepted a long term subbing job for a daughter of a friend. She is having her first child. It is third grade language arts and third graders are always fun!
I am pet sitting for my two middle daughters while they go on vacation. DD#2 has a small dog named Dusty. Dusty is in the utility room and will be outside whenever we are. My Lilly and Me-new are very jealous and are acting up right now. My fur children are bullies and don't like to share their people or toys!
DD#3 has a large cat named Sierra who also doesn't like to share space with other animals. Sierra is in my studio and thinks it is hers now! I am ok with this at this point, since it means she is comfortable in that area.  This morning I went in to clean her litter box and feed her. She walked to her food bowl; ate a bit; then turned and walked away. She looked back at me and hissed to dismiss me. I explained to my granddaughter that when they get back Sierra will be a fabric diva. It has already started!
Lator Gators!

  1. Sounds like it's going to be busy. Hope you'll have a bit of sewing time in there. :)
