Between subbing and the flood (there is so much water that the webs between true Cajun toes are regenerating), I have not made a very big dent in my stash. I am sewing! (Finished 3 Wedding Churn Dash blocks Incorrectly and 1 KS Mystery Star block) Just still not finishing a quilt!
Then I got the news Friday that DD#1 may have to move to Houston until January. She won't be able to bring her quilting machine so my quilts won't get quilted any time soon. Looks like it is time to invest in my own.
Ah, well. When life gives you lemons, get your sugar and make lemonade.

  1. On the bright side, early November would be a good time to visit her in Houston. The International Quilt Festival would be a great way to keep you entertained while she is working!

  2. I assume if you are still stitching that you are not flooded. I didn't realize how bad it was down there until a friend's husband went down as an insurance adjuster.

  3. I hope you are staying high and dry. Maybe you can go borrow the machine and make sure it is "working correctly" while DD1 is in Houston :)
