Bonnie Hunter's Version 2

The 2 forward and 3 backwards trend has started to break!
1960's Singer
    Between Glenda and DGS#9, it
has almost been eliminated from the piecing area. Glenda made and mailed me 80+ 4 patches to help get me out of the blue funk from my Premier malfunctioning! Then this morning when DGS#9 realized that I was sad and not sewing, he went hunt down and set up my second favorite Vintage machine, a 1960 Singer portable with cams.
The 1950's Premier and I still have not come to terms, but I have not given up on him yet. The Premier machine is a dream to piece on and the problem is with the operator not my Premie. I am still trying to put the needle back in correctly. As for threading the needle, there are tools for that when eyes go bad! LOL I am going to go get a few at the LQS sometimes today!

Marking a scant 1/4" seam on the Singer was a priority. Once that was done, piecing began. Then came ironing, triming, and sub cutting.  Those carefully cut strip sets slowly became 4 patches. As they did, the blue funk slowly faded and forward motion started. Forward motion equals more positive attitude. A positive attitude meant relaxing which will result in better health. Like momma said, "Quilting/piecing helps keep the crazies away."
When the 4 patches from Glenda arrive, I will take pictures of them all together. I got so excited to be sewing again that process/ set up pictures were forgotten!
WOW! Two posts in one day...I must be feeling better!
Lator Gators! Going back to machine.
